It took the mobile gaming to storm when it was published
by Finnish game developer Supercell. The game was released
for iOS platforms on August 2, 2012, and on Google
Play for Android on October 7, 2013.
The resources are quadruple in the game like gold and elixir can be used to build and
upgrade defences and traps that protect the player from other players’ attacks
and to build and upgrade buildings, elixir and dark elixir are also used to
train and upgrade troops and spells, gems are the premium resources. Attacks
are rated on a three-star scale and have a maximum timed length of three
minutes.
Though the game looks like tiny cartoonish characters mill around a
cartoon village on a player’s phone screen, building cute little armies that
they let loose on enemy camps, soldiers auto-hack at buildings, walls, and
cannons while the player watches, earning gold and other resources for creating
more characters, or more structures, in the village, but the game manages to
absorb millions of supposedly short attention spans for hours, weeks, or
months, mostly through good design and unprecedented opportunity.
In the meantime, the highly awaited Clash of Clans Spring 2020
update has arrived on April 24, 2020 and with it came the Super Troops, balance
updates and more! The highlight of the update is the new Super Troops, updated
versions of normal troops that come with special unique abilities. In
addition to Super Troops, the update brings new levels to upgrade for your
Village’s Defenses, Troops, Buildings and Spells!
It can
sometimes feel like a hurry up and grind and wait type of game, but the
developers by reducing the costs and eliminating the training time at Builder
Base, they’ve created a more active game experience. It will surely help the
title to move ahead
