Fifa 20 TOTW: Coming back!

Covid-19 put the football world on pause, but as it returns – it’s time to get your hands on some in-forms. After Bundesliga, EPL and LaLiga Santander are about to resume as well! EA had to put a pause on its Team of the Week releases every Wednesday due to aforementioned pandemic.

EA has confirmed on Twitter that Team of the Week will return with TOTW 27 on Wednesday, June 24. This follows on from the recent Team of the Season So Far (TOTSSF) promo, which is now reaching it’s a conclusion, following the release of the Ultimate TOTSSF squad.

There’s more good news for FUT fans, with this tweet also confirming that players competing in the upcoming FUT Weekend League will receive the same rewards as this week, so it means one could grab a high-rated Ultimate TOTSSF player in his player picks this week and next week as well! 

The period when TOTW was suspended, EA SPORTS brought in a new promo called Team of the Week Moments in its place, with re-releases of TOTW squads from previous versions of FIFA with updated players, attributes and teams. There were a total of six TOTW Moments squads released during this promo. 

Many are delighted to hear about the promo coming back, as it promises the return of football as well. Just another step of things getting back to normality, a welcoming gesture!
