Fifa 19 and Fifa 20 – somehow, somewhere have failed to meet the expectations of Fifa lovers. That unbearable server issue, bugs, glitches, scripted gameplay etc. have created a disgust among the gamers! Over the past two seasons, EA hasn’t been able to deliver a fine product.
So the launch of the next FIFA title – FIFA 21 is going to be a very important release by EA, as EA Sports boffins continue working on the finer details, eager gamers will already have it on their wish-list.
Generally, EA releases Fifa 21 on the last week of September every year, but this year the trend might change a bit considering the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.
EA appeared to confirm that FIFA 21 would indeed be released around September this year with the game’s inclusion as a launch title for the second quarter of the financial year in its financial report, but timing is subject to change. Like last year, early access will be granted to those who pre-order the game, meaning they are able to play in advance of the release date. However, no official date has been set yet!
With over 80 ICONs in FIFA 20, there aren’t many legends of the game EA has to choose from. But the new additions might be:
Franz Beckenbauer last appeared in the FIFA series back in FIFA 17, and the Kaiser is due for a return. It’s a similar case for fellow Chelsea man Ashley Cole, who retired last season after a 20-year career that spanned 16 trophies and three continents. Francesco Totti would be a welcome addition to FIFA Ultimate Team, with the Roma legend one of the most iconic players to wear the number 10 shirt.
Then there is the FUT Web App that allows you to access your Ultimate Team through your mobile phone, allowing you to open packs, adjust your squad and complete SBCs. With the Web App updating the day before Early Access becomes available, give yourself a head start just before the FUT season starts!
The wait might end in a few months, but the Fifa season ceases never!
