EA has brought out its Top 100 in Fifa 21 with just one month left
before its worldwide release on October 9, 2020! The top two highest rated
cards go to Messi and Ronaldo; yes as expected by the football fraternity. But
there has been some remarkable upgrades and downgrades in that list – a few
eyebrows raised; agreement and disagreement ceases never!
Now let’s put a deep insight into the list of Top 100 and pick out
the best among them.
Firstly, we will take a look at the GKs, “The easiest to be
made a scapegoat on a football pitch with the brightest chance to be a saviour
overnight”. Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid tops the list with an Ovr. 91
base card, however many are against the fact that he doesn’t deserve a 91 rated
card after Atletico’s exit from the recently concluded UCL. Manuel Neuer has
got a ovr. 89 base card (+1) as compared to a ovr. 88 last year. His stellar
performance throughout the season in the colours of Bayern Munich was simply
astounding! Ter Stegen of Barcelona has retained a ovr. 90 rated card similar
to the last year, though the nightmare at the UCL QF against Bayern Munich will
haunt him for a good span of time! The other notable names like Alisson,
Courtois, Ederson and De Gea will be carrying ovr. base cards of 90, 89, 88 and
86 respectively.
These GKs will be supported by beast like defenders in the form of
Van Dijk and Ramos. These two CBs are an indispensable factor in any playing XI
to defend their fort. VVD’s base ovr. 90 card is supposed to be as lethal as
the last year, whereas Ramos’s 89 rated card is expected to be better than the
last year if Fifa 21 supports a bit of crossing in game! The other top rated
CBs like Koulibaly (88), Laporte (87), Chiellini (87) and Piquè (86) might have
an issue with their pace in game. However Varane is again going to be there at
the top bracket of CBs with an ovr. base card of 86 adept in chasing down
defenders with a pace of 82👊 What
about the full backs then? Pacy full backs are always an asset to the team –
Walker (ovr. 85), Jordi Alba (ovr.86) and Ferlan Mendy (ovr. 83) are right on
the track to do that! Arnold (87), Robertson (87), Carvajal (86), Cancelo (83),
Wan Bissaka (83) etc. makes that list a daunting one for sure!
Then you need some perfect providers and a defensive screen at the
same time in the middle to create chances at the upfront. And who can be better
than – De Bruyne (91), Kante (88), Kimmich (88), Modric (87), Bruno Fernandes
(87) and Muller (86) at the moment! The latest transfers have added some more
fuel into it with Havertz (85) and Ziyech (85) at Chelsea.
Messi, Neymar, Salah, Mane are sure to set the wings on fire this
season! Among them Mane (ovr. 90) is sure to run for his life with a pace of 94🙄, whereas the other three are
all about class on the grass with their sublime touches, dribbles, feints and
their own innovations on the turf. They will be having their ovr. base cards of
93, 91 and 90 – a class of hierarchy; Messi, Neymar and Salah! Hazard (88),
Sterling (88), Sancho (87) and Son (87) are not going to be left behind. Gnabry
(85) might be a show stealer this year, he was in his form of life in the
recent past!
But who will finish it off? Probably the gamers are going to have
more options this year with Ronaldo (92), Lewandowski (91), Mbappè (90) and
Aguero (89) at the upfront. Mbappé being the Cover Star this year is hugely
expected to be an OP card this season. And the goal-scoring spree of CR7 and
Lewandowski don’t seem to be going down anyhow! Firmino (87), Griezmann (87),
Werner (85) and Haaland (84) can add to their tally as well👊
