It was a sudden step taken by the Indian government to ban PUBG,
however speculation of banning the same has been on for quite sometime now. The
Chinese giant Tencent is having a stake of 10% in PUBG’s parent company
Bluehole.
The main reason of discontent against Tencent is the political unrest between India and China. The decision was never unexpected as the increasing tension at the borders where the Chinese troops tried to encroach into the Indian region of Line of Actual Control (LAC) was being constantly deflated by the Indian soldiers.
In the meantime, the Indian Government has declared that an alternative title, FAU-G, developed by the India based developers of nCore Games based out of Bangalore might be a substitute for the gamers. However the despair caused with the ban of PUBG is never going to be an easy task for the developers to fulfil.
But a lot attempt is being made to make Fearless and United Guards
(FAU-G) a suitable substitute in place of PUBG; the Bollywood superstar, Akshay
Kumar has come up with all praises for this Indian title. It has also put to
light that the title will be emphasising on the sacrifices by our Indian
soldiers and a 20% of its earnings will go to the fund, ‘Bharat ke Veer’. A
noble idea!
Though the gaming fraternity has given some indifferent opinions, many have taken to Twitter posting negative response to its inception. FAU-G’s reveal image has already been facing issues of being copied and transcribed . This is not really the way to initiate any new title when the stake is too high!
nCore Games is yet to reveal further details about FAU-G, however they have been working on the project since May/June. Do leave your comments into the comment box below and stay tuned to 🌍www.esportznow.com🌍
