Like every year just before the release of Fifa, the player ratings
become the most talked about topic among the gamers! It gives them a chance to
plan their FUT squad for the initial days in Fifa. Though Fifa ratings have
been questioned by different communities all over the globe, we need to go by that!
FIFA 21 ratings have become a hot social media topic as the 2019-20
season reaches its delayed climax. At the same time FIFA 21 is now
confirmed for PS5 and Xbox Series X ushering in a new console era with
realistic player attributes is a huge deal.
So lets start with the downgrades and upgrades of a probable few:
Alphonso Davies (LM/LB/LWB, FC Bayern) – current OVR: 72
A fan favourite among the FIFA 20 fanbase for his 91-rated
speed, it’s incredible to think that Davies still resides in silver territory
after establishing himself at left-back for the German heavyweights. As well as
a sizeable ratings boost, expect a permanent position switch from LM to LB
which will also mean David Alaba being converted to a CB in FIFA
21. Predicted FIFA 21 player rating: 79/82 (upgrade)
Nordi Mukiele (CB, RB Leipzig) – current OVR: 72
Ratings of 87 pace, 89 defending and 90 physical have sent Mukiele’s
TOTSSF card soaring towards the 175K mark, but they’re completely deserved, the
22-year-old Frenchman looks set for a dominant career in Europe’s top leagues.
A first full international cap will surely arrive in the next 12 months,
alongside a considerable FIFA 21 rating jump. Predicted FIFA 21 player
rating: 82 (upgrade)
Caglar Soyuncu (CB, Leicester City) – current OVR: 79
Rounding out our slightly unconventional back-four is the new cult
hero of the East Midlands, following a season in which the towering Turk
cemented himself among the Premier League’s elite defenders. Soyuncu received a
FIFA 20 winter upgrade from 74 to 79, and the next step is a leap into the
early 80s. Predicted FIFA 21 player rating: 83/84 (upgrade)
David Luiz (CB, Arsenal) – current OVR: 83
Luiz, who was signed from Chelsea last summer, has been heavily
criticised for his various mistakes in an Arsenal shirt. The 33-year-old
Brazilian has been predicted to drop from his 83 overall in FIFA 20 to 77 in
FIFA 21. Predicted FIFA 21 player rating: 77/78 (downgrade)
Jesse Lingard (CAM / CM, MANU) – current OVR: 82
Lingard, 27, has endured another lacklustre season at Old Trafford
and has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford.
Predicted FIFA 21 player rating: 77/78 (downgrade)
Timo Werner (ST, RB Leipzig) – Current OVR: 83 & 86
The second superstar to join Chelsea this summer after Hakim Ziyech,
the Blues are slowly beginning to assemble a squad that can challenge for the
title. With 34 goals in all competitions last season, if things click at
Stamford Bridge, Werner could be in the frame for the golden boot. He got a
winter refresh card of 86 as well, he might probably get a OTW card in Fifa 21!
Predicted FIFA 21 player rating: 86 Base Gold Card / OTW 86
(upgrade)
We can surely add a few more names like Lewandowski, Haaland,
Immobile, Oblak, KDB, Maane, Van Dijk etc. to the upgrades! On the other hand,
players like Godin, de Gea, Eriksen, Ozil, Hazard, Lloris etc. will probably
having lower ratings as compared to Fifa 20.
The stalwarts of the game – Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Mbappe are
really above any upgrade as they fit into the meta of the game perfectly
throughout the season. Be ready for these beasts to be above their present
ratings for sure!
