Aranna Starseeker: Hearthstone’s New Demon Hunter

Hearthstone has experimented with all kinds of content and characters over the years, from tavern brawls to dungeon crawls, single-player experiences to the auto-battler Battlegrounds.

Aranna Starseeker joined the Battlegrounds Hero roster! She is Elise Starseeker’s sister, whose story we will learn in the upcoming single player adventure. We’ll also get her Demon Hunter version as a cosmetic Demon Hunter portrait. She is a bold new demon hunter that comes alongside a free single-player campaign experience where one dives into her character and companions as they embark on a Shakespearean Mad Max journey across the Outlands!

As Hearthstone is a turn-based collectible card game which pits two opponents against each other, players select a hero from one of ten classes. All classes have unique cards and abilities, known as hero powers, which help define class archetypes. Each player uses a deck of cards from their collection with the end goal being to reduce the opponent’s health to zero. 

One can also play as Aranna in Battlegrounds, where her character transforms into a much more powerful entity after completing some basic game requirements. And if one still wants more Aranna to bring into his ranked games, he can purchase an Ashes of Outland package that comes with the character portrait, voices, and effects! The Felfire Festival is an ongoing event, and more aspects will open up in the days and weeks to come.
