Tease with danger and cease your enemy! Rainbow Six Siege is
an online tactical shooter video game developed
by Ubisoft Montreal. It is also one of the few titles which is set to be
released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. For now one can
enjoy this title on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One
since its release on December 1, 2015.
The game features a heavy emphasis on environmental destruction using a procedural destruction system. But one has to be very shrewd in both defensive and offensive strategies and its execution! Initially, the game was launched with 11 maps and 5 different gameplay modes including PVE and PVP. The gameplay modes are intriguing to the core:
Hostage: A multiplayer mode where the attackers must extract the
hostage from the defenders, while the defenders must prevent that from
happening.
Bomb: Another multiplayer mode, in which the attackers are tasked
with locating and defusing bombs. The defenders must stop the attackers by
killing all of them or destroying the defuser.
Secure Area: Here the defenders must protect a room with a biohazard
container, while the attackers must fight their way in and secure it.
Tactical Realism: The game mode features a heavier emphasis on
realism and teamwork, removing most of the heads-up display (HUD) elements.
Terrorist Hunt: A solo or cooperative multiplayer
mode for up to five players taking on the role of either attackers or
defenders fighting against waves of enemies controlled by artificial
intelligence and a few more modes which are too alluring for any title of action genre!
The entire game development has been done keeping the training methods,
recruitment procedure, stealth training of the best anti-terrorism units in the
world like U.S. Navy SEALs, Russian Spetsnaz etc. The truth is, the world may
never know exactly what these teams have accomplished, but their public records
contain enough to earn global respect and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is
nothing but a tribute to these warriors!
A pure masterclass dedicated towards real life saviours!
