mously known as the “Iceman” was untouchable throughout the tournament after losing just one inconsequential leg out of 24 in what wasthe most dominant display we have ever seen at this level. He conceded an early goal in the final but the Iceman showed veins of ice and replied with an instant goal. He gained momentum and his dominance started to show. The Argentine went on to win the final 5-3 and deservingly won his first ever major.
M4RV , A fifa veteran showed his experience and beat some big names including his fellow compatriot from Germany , MCFC Deto. His run came to an end in the final but he secured his spot in london and we cant wait to see him back in action.
The two lads from Hashtag United, Ivan “Boraslegend” Lapanje and Agge Rosenmier were on the verge of getting knocked out but won their deciding games to reach the round of 32. Agge scored three goals in the last 15 minutes to complete the comeback of dreams. Boras on the other hand, scored a goal with the last kick of the game against IcePrinsipe to win a ticket to the Fifa eWorld Cup! Both Agge and Boras will be going to London and there will surely be a lot of support for the guys from Hashtag.
Not to forget, WEB from Japan who only started playing fifa a month ago and qualified for the event playing a different game altogether, enjoyed a dream run to the semi finals only to be halted by M4RV. He will represent a whole country in London and has already won many hearts.
With that, the stage is set for the FIFA eWorld Cup in London . 32 players from XBOX and PS4 will compete to be crowned the new World Champion. There will be a lot more prize money to play for and the stakes will definitely be higher. We will see you in August!
